Yolo County Weed Management Area Fall Meeting: October 19th
The Yolo County Weed Management Area (YCWMA) promotes and coordinates efforts toward the management and control of the County’s noxious weeds through education and cooperation with landowners, agencies, organizations, and the general public. The group is led by the Yolo County Department of Agriculture and the Yolo County Resource Conservation District (Yolo RCD).
The YCWMA hosts biannual informational meetings that feature insights from UC Cooperative Extension and other experts in weed management. The meetings serve as an avenue for participants to network, ask questions, and learn about relevant Yolo County target weeds and their management. The next YCWMA meeting will take place IN PERSON on October 19, 2022 from 2:00-3:30 PM at Norton Hall (70 Cottonwood Street) in Woodland.
On the agenda, the meeting will feature a variety of presentations including topics like laws and regulations updates from Yolo County Department of Agriculture, prescribed grazing for weed management, and glyphosate resistant weeds in Yolo County. To view the full agenda, click here.
