The Yolo County RCD is always active in the community, working on important projects to restore and conserve the natural resources that make this county so special. Below, you can find more information on the types of projects we work on and the services we offer here in Yolo County and beyond.

From Carbon Farm Planning to installing pollinator habitat and everything in between, learn how the RCD work with local partners to offer technical assistance to farmers and ranchers in Yolo County.

The RCD has had the pleasure of restoring or managing many open spaces in Yolo county for native habitat. Check out some of our recent project sites, many of which are open to the public, to see resource conservation and restoration at work.

After the LNU complex in 2020, it became clear that Yolo County needed to start preparing for wildfire, which is why the RCD has begun helping community members and organizations put together a county-wide fire safe council.
