The Yolo Prescribed Burn Association, in collaboration with Solano PBA, Napa PBA, and UC Cooperative Extension is hosting a training series to cover prescribed fire basics with introductory concepts that will help prepare attendees to safely and effectively participate in prescribed fires. This training series will not have live fire components and no certifications will be offered.

The full training consists of two virtual training nights on Monday, August 19th and Thursday, August 22nd from 6-8 PM. These virtual meetings will be recorded for folks who cannot attend, but will need to be reviewed prior to the in-person training day. One in-person field day will be offered in each of the three counties. Folks are welcome to attend any in-person field day that fits their schedule, regardless of county affiliation. Please register for both the virtual training and ONE field day at the links below.

To attend the trainings, registration is required at the links above. Participants must attend both virtual trainings (or watch the recordings) in order to attend the field day. All three field days will cover the same information, please select only one field day that best suits your county affiliation or schedule.
