Farm and Ranch Programs 101 – Recording Available

On April 10, the Yolo County Resource Conservation (RCD) hosted a Farm and Ranch Programs 101. The event featured presentations on free technical assistance and funding opportunities for farmers and ranchers in Yolo County.

Farm and Ranch Programs 101 featured the following presentations:

  • Josephine Medina & Paul Sullivan, Farm Services Agency – FSA Programs and Loan Programs
  • Conor Higgins, Yolo County Resource Conservation District – Sutter-Yolo Mobile Irrigation Lab
  • Hope Zabronsky, UC Cooperative Extension – UCANR Climate Smart Agriculture Program
  • Eden Winniford, Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District – Agricultural Clean Air Grant Programs
  • Rogell Rogers, Sustainable Conservation – Advancing Groundwater Recharge with Sustainable Conservation
  • Kristin Sicke, Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (YCFCWCD) – Water Resources Management in Yolo County
  • Lan Ngo, Community Alliance for Family Farmers (CAFF) – CAFF Water Policy Program & Groundwater Related Services
