Yolo County RCD is a part of the Inner Coast Collaborative (ICC), a regional partnership of Napa County RCD, Clear Lake Environmental Resource Center, Colusa County RCD, Solano County RCD, and Yolo County RCD that receives funding from the Department of Conservation’s Regional Forest and Fire Capacity Grant. The Inner Coast Collaborative (ICC) works region-wide to develop a regional priority plan, develop and plan projects to increase forest and fire resilience, increase regional capacity, and provide technical assistance. Above all, the ICC works to build wildfire resilience across the region to plan for and lessen the impacts of wildfire.
To help inform our regional planning efforts, a survey has been created to summarize the socio-ecological context of the region’s resilience to wildfire. Data from this survey helps inform decision-making and is a way for folks living and working in Northern California to provide input on efforts to plan for and mitigate wildfire throughout the region. The survey, linked below, takes 10-15 minutes to complete and will remain open until Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
The Yolo County Resource Conservation District (RCD) works closely with local and regional partners to restore and protect Yolo County watersheds through strategic conservation projects and programs, and by offering conservation planning and watershed coordination services to local residents and landowners.
