Profiles in Yolo County Conservation

Western foothills & field The Yolo County Resource Conservation District (YCRCD) has partnered with local farmers & ranchers for over 50 years. Our goals are to support & assist in the implementation of conservation  activities that maintain & improve agricultural sustainability, wildlife habitat and water quality.  Over the past decade, the YCRCD has been involved with numerous grant-funded projects that have focused on building & refining our  knowledge of  “on-farm practices”  that are both cost-effective for farmers, and guided by ecologically sound principles.
