Unpaved Roads: Design & Maintenance, Day 2

Held in Bear and Sulphur Creek watersheds, this workshop meets in the field to see roads that have been inventoried, and to discuss proper road drainage techniques and recommendations.

  • Learn about how to properly design and manage your unpaved roads.
  • Decrease the maintenance needs and imp[acts of the road.
  • Find out about cost share and funding assistance.

Instructors: Danny Hagans, earth scientist and Jason Hoorn, geomorphologist of Pacific Watershed Associates, Inc.

This workshop is sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management, Department of Water Resources, and the Colusa & Yolo County Resource Conservation Districts.
