Unpaved Roads: Design & Maintenance Part 2 (Meet at the CDF Station at Highway 16 and 20., from March 14, 2008 09:00 to March 14, 2008 14:00)

A field workshop to examine unpaved roads in the Bear and Sulpur Creek watersheds, and to discuss proper road drainage techniques and recommendations. Cost is $10 for lunch.

Held in Bear and Sulphur Creek watersheds, this workshop meets in the field to see roads that have been inventoried, and to discuss proper road drainage techniques and recommendations.

A classroom session and slide show will provide an overview of road issues, including soil erosion, sedimentation into waterways, watershed hydrology and road improvement measures.
