Yolo County Resource Conservation District
The Yolo County Resource Conservation District is seeking an energetic and creative individual to lead an innovative and highly-respected organization in implementing our mission in Yolo County. We desire candidates with a strong combination of management, communication, and people skills, and knowledge of California agricultural practices and natural resources. The position requires creativity and an ability to work independently while reaching out to a variety of groups and agencies in representing the District's goals and objectives. This will require the ability to work flexibly within a set of wide-ranging and often challenging tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Conservation Needs Assessment
2. Board Reporting
3. Grant-writing
4. Financial Management
5. Personnel Management
6. Contract Management
7. Conservation Issue Tracking
8. Coordination with Conservation Partners
9. District Outreach
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Natural Resources or Planning field (MS preferred) with significant management experience in a small business, non-profit or small government setting with oversight of multiple levels of personnel.
Compensation
Competitive salary depending on experience; Excellent benefits.
